Besides creating a greater understanding of what we are as conscious beings, [[awaretheory]] also is a scientific/materialistic theory of [[life after death]] and [[immortality]] that does not need or have in it any supernatural entities like souls, gods, spirits, etc.  A very simple summation of awaretheory is [[The "I" is more than the "eye" can see!]]

Resurrection is usually considered a one time event. Superimmortality is not limited to one death.

One of the consequences of awaretheory's ideas in the increase in the understanding of the [[potential you]]. There is nothing [[supernatural]] or mystical about the concept of the [[potential you]] it is completely based on rational scientific principles that have been and continuously are being tested in different ways. Most people that do not believe in [[life after death]], believe that the potential you is or would be what you will experience before death. [[Awaretheory]] defines the potential you as everything you could ever experience under all circumstances. So it includes everything that you have every experienced and everything that you could possibility ever experience. If we include changing the sequence patterns of experiences that you can experience (that will have your [[ixperiencitness]]) [[awaretheory]] predicts that the [[potential you]] is actually an infinite amount of [[awarepaths]] that can be infinitely long. This should be called more than just [[immortality]] but maybe [[potential multiple immortality]] or [[superimmortality]]?

Your life’s full sequences of conscious experiences is called an [[awarepath]]. Within that awarepath one can imagine many different variational experiences or different [[awaremoment]]s or [[awaresections]] that could have occured to your original awarepath. These imagined variations to your actual awarepath create part of your original awarepath. Most people, if they use enough imagination can imagine having an almost completely different lifetime of conscious experiences. With even more imagination, they can keep imagining even more variations to their past life. And assuming that you are still alive while reading this sentence, you can imagine all sorts of different future experiences that you could have. Meaning that there are a near endless amounts of different future possible continuing awarepaths you could have.

To understand the [[science of superimmortality]] a thinker needs to determine the [[total conscious you]]. This means determining all of the possible [[awarepaths]] that a person can ideally experience. We start wiith all of the naturally produced things that you can experience. You can let you imagination run wild with possibilities. Some of these possibilities will be much more likely than others. For example, continuing to read this sentence is more likely than you flying out your window.  Most people believe that who and what they are, are consciousnesses that revolve around this actually produced current conscious moment. You may remember past conscious moments or events but you are the current conscious moment, that is constantly changing into another consciousness moment. A conscious moment is called an [[awaremoment]].

[[Overlaypaths]] are experiences that can be added to the things that you are doing. If you are taking a walk you are experiencing what is around you in you walk what you can see, hear, feel, taste, and smell. You can add many experience or overlaypath to this walk such as talking to one or more individuals or animals. You could be experiencing pain of any sort or intensity at any number of differnt places on or in your body. These experiences can be labeled as a overlaypath or [[overlaysection]] to the walking [[awaresection]].

If there is an experience machne or [[sensepaducer]] ( a [[sensepath]] producer) it could produce a reality that could be very different from ours. With a complex enough experience machine any reality could be produced even irrational or illogical ones. For instance, where 2+2 = 5 because sometimes when you pile 4 apples together you end up with 5 apples, or where you can live in an actual square circle house because the geometry of space and time are different in this world.

The word transcendence is defined as existence or experience beyond the normal or physical level.
A transcendent experience would be one that is very different from what a person is used to in his normal everyday life. It can contain very strong emotional sensations. Some people call it conecting to a deeper reality or seeing new realities. People often want to see the purpose of their life in relationship to the totality of reality.

A materialist/physicalist/naturalist theory of consciousness and immortality - - [awaretheory] predicts that the functioning of the brain produces consciousness. As the structure and functioning of a consciousness producing body changes over time the consciousness that this body produces changes. There are an enumerable amount of dffernt ways the brain can be strucured and then and even larger number of ways the brain can function starting from this structure or [[physapoint]].

The [[enviropath]] are the physical conditions that the connsciousness producing body is exposed to. It includes the temperature radiation, chemicals, pressure, diet, oxygen levels, poisons, etc., that the body is modifyed by over the lifetime of the consciousness producing body or person. The enviropath also includes injuries, surgeries, enhancements, degradations, and any other technological process that can change the structure and functioning of the person.It is possible to imagine and extremely large amount of different enviropaths that could be applied to a person at any point in their life thus producing an extremely large amount of different physapaths. if the resulting physapaths are different enough then tthey will produce different awarepaths. But there are an extremely large amount of different ways to change by a small amount that does not change the awarepath produed by the physapath. For instance, the movement of a single atom to a different position or orientation a small amount will produce the same identical  awarepath and [[ixperiencitness]].

The [[sensepath]] is another term that is the [[science of superimmortality]] uses to help understand conscousness and immortality.


The [[walk around town]] is an example of the many closely like but differnt conscious experiences a person can have just walking around their town, These different paths that a person walks produces a differrent awarepaths that is produced by the physapath.

=The need for continuity and continuousness of body and mind?=

Many theories of life after death and immortality require some sort of continuity and, or continuousness of body and, or the mind. The [[science of superimmortality]] does not require continuity or continuous of the body or mind. Consciousness and [[ixperiencitness]] is produced by the structure and functioning of the brain. The same [[physamoment]] produces the same [[awaremoment]] without a need for continuity or continuousness of the body or mind. If your brain is currently producing a specific physamoment it is more likely that the next physamomnt will be like the one that your body just had produced than a radically differnt physamoment. But we can imagine any number of “magical changes” (meaning advanced technological changes) where the brains structure and functioning is changed to any other structure and functioning or physamoment. If your brain’s structure and functioning is changed with this magical like process to that of your next door neighbor’s brain structure and functioning then your neighbor’s consciousness will be produced by your body. There is no continuity of consciousness produced in this case. If the process took time where no consciousness is produced by your body then there would not be continuousness of consciousness or ixperiencitness created either. If there is an instantaneous change from producing a consciousness you experience to producing a consciousness that your neighbor experiences there would be constenuousness of consciousness but discontinuity in the produced [[ixperiencitness]].

I can imagine a person not dying after a normal lifetime so can many other people. In fact, most religious people believe in some sort of conscious life after death. Some believe this life will be in the form produced by a soul without a body and others believe that they will experience having a body. Still others believe that the path to immortality means keeping your current body alive forever. Lets assume that you can extend the life of a person beyond a normal human lifespan what then can they experience? The previous section of the mainpage of this wiki covered a near endless amount of conscious experiences or awaremoments a person can experience starting from any point in their life. A proceeding section connected these awaremoments (awarepaths) to many different physamoments (awarpaths). We can now imagine a body that does not die but can produce any one of all of these different physamoments. 

If what is important in producing immortality is continuity and continuousness of body and mind we can imagine a continuously existing body continuously producing consciousness except for periods of sleep, coma, anesthesia, or other normal periods of human unconsciousness. Can there be this kind of body that produces every possible consciousness that you can experience continuously and with continuity. What is meant by continuity of consciousness is relatively smooth change in [[structure and functioning]] that the brain produces and in the resulting consciousness that it produces. An example of a discontinuous conscius experience would be, yuu are experiencing the current conscious moment reading this sentence and then next you are sitting in front of your tenth birthday, birthday cake about to blow out the candles. There are two different scenarios one show discontinuity and the other a form of continuity.

In the first case you experience reading this sentence and then next you are looking at a birthday cake. In this case your [[sensepath]] has drastically changed but you memories, abilities, knowledge, etc., have stayed the same. You may be thinking this is a bizare experience. You may be thinking why and how this happened. In the second case your brain has the same structure and functioning that it did at that exact point in you life. You would have no idea that your current consciousness is being produced by a body that just a moment before was producing an older version of yourself. In this case there is a discontinuity in both the physapath, sensepath, But in both cases you are experiencing something. If in both cases “you” are experiencing something then by definition you have the same [[ixperiencitness]]. Of course, It is possible that there is so much difference in what was experienced at ten years old and what is experienced now that the two different awaremoments and proceeding awarepaths have only percentage wise identity of ixperiencitness and not total identity of ixperiencitness. 

The [[science of superimmortality]] predicts that to produce the same ixperiencitness in the same or different body continuity of consciousness or body is not necessay. Nor is continuousness of body or consciousness.

A continuous body is one that has no interruptions in existence.

And visa versa if we take the matter from someone else's body and create the structure and functioning that is currently going on in your body, we also create the consciousness that is being produced by your body. By changing the matter used at a particular time, we are changing the physical space that your consciousness is being produced in. Consequently, anywhere that your current [[structure and functioning]] could be produced your current [[consciousness]] would be produced as well.</center>

The simplest answer is that you always experience the identical consciousness no matter how, where, when, or why, it is produced. The  principles of science of psychexistology  agrees with this statement along with almost every thing in the article. However, there are the questions still need to be asked and answered:  1. What was it before death of the body that existed, that now does not exist in the body, that produced the mind of this person? 2. Why is there the assumption that there is not a reversible process (at least theoretically) that can be applied to this case. With a materialistic/scientific belief system the solution must be materialistic in nature. In other words the solution deals with matter and energy, So what materialistic thing happened to the matter in the body so that it does not produce the consciousness of the original person any longer? The answer, simply put, is the brain is not functioning like it did before. Restore brain functioning and you restore consciousness. Restore brain [[structure and  functioning]] exactly and you restore the exact same [[consciousness]]. If the restored structure and functioning is different enough you have restored someone else's consciousness. For this not to be the case there has to be some other factors that have been permanently destroyed in the process of dying that are not reversible. There is no proof of this in the article. Since science has not found scientific evidence of materialistic or non materialistic "other factors", the usual response is that the structure and functioning is too complex to duplicate. Or second, you have to have the correct knowledge to be able to do it, which is permanently lost with the death of the person. And third, is that if this is possible then multiplicity would be possible and that would be unthinkable. The simple response is: Nature or natural processes produced this consciousness in the first place. Consequently, it could approximate [[structure and functioning]] again in the future. And who knows what conscious beings can do in the future as well in producing and controlling the consciousnesses that are produced. In science many times unthinkable things become thinkable and are even found to be true and produceable.</center>

You can have meaning and purpose in your current life but have no hope for any life after this current one. Or you can feel that you have no meaning nor purpose in your current life but hope that you will be going to heaven and then have a wonderful life with meaning and purpose by constantly worshiping for eternity. Each life different life that you can experince can have its own path of hope, meaning, and purpose.

Superimmortality gives extra hope, meaning, and purpose to life because there can be many things a person can experience after his current body’s death. This is achieved by producing another body naturally or artificially that produces the structure and functioning or [[physapath]] that produces any of these imagined [[potential awarepaths]] that you experience when they are produced. There is extra hope because there can be many future conscious lives that you can have. There is extra purpose and meaning because you can know about other conscious lives that you and you loved ones can experience and you can work toward creating the awarepaths that you want to experience by working toward creating the physapaths that produce them.

By helping humanity survive into the future you increase the chance of future conscious versions of you and the people and animals that you care about consciously existing again. Lives can be relived where the bad parts (as defined by the many or any different conscious versions of you) are replaced with better parts or sections.

It is often stated that for the universe to be just and merciful there needs to be an afterlife so the bad people can be punished and the good can be rewarded. If this is not the case then the universe is a totally indifference place for conscious beings to exist in.

Just because this life can be relatively good for you and you end up doing many bad things to other people, animals, the earth, science, society, etc., does not mean this is the best possible life that you can experience.

Many people are leaving religions. Religions gave people direction in their lives even though it often causes people needless suffering and extra difficulties in their lives. When people see how imaginary and frequently simple minded religions are, and then also see how many other people see the same problems with religions 
they stop being religious. But what is left? Science and technology gives us many wonder things. Plus it helps cure us, feed us, cloth and entertain us etc. But it seems to say that death is final. Everybody dies. Science tries not to jump to conclusions. So it leaves death as being a final end to conscious life as the logical conclusion until the evidence shows otherwise. Because people think that science says there is no possible conscious existence for a person after death there is a revolt against science and thus an increasing desire for the supernatural or unfortunately for hopelessness.

Superimmortality shows that there is evidence for the fact that there are an extremely large amount of things a person can experience starting at any point in their life. Thus producing many potential awarepaths a person could experience. Since each awarepath is produced by the structure and functioning of the body but specially the brain, each of these potential awarepaths can be produced by identical or near identical physapath. This is very different from the common belief that when you die you will never experience anything ever again. If you only have one life to live then this one life has a different level of importance for you than if there are many potential lives that you can experience. If you can never consciously exist again after this one current life, then  there is no need to take care of the earth because you will never exist again to need or to enjoy it. Your care in this case is based on the empathy that you have for other beings and the beauty that you may want to continue to exist on earth and in the universe after your death. Immortality is often seen from the perspective of having a person’s children live after them, from the deeds and accomplishments that they have achieved in their life, and from the memories that other people may have of them.

Many people, down through the ages, have wanted more than the apparent finality of death, and have come up with many different ideas about how life can exist after death. In some cases these ideas have turned into belief systems that have often become cults and religions. In certain cases these ideas have had positive effects of people’s lives but frequently they have caused many people’s lives to be more difficult. One major problem with current supernatural beliefs systems is they assume that science shows that bodily death is the permanent end to a person’s conscious existence. Consequently, then assume the only way to achieve life after death is by way of supernatural entities and processes. This produces an anti-science bias. Knowledge, science, and the advancement of science helps humans survive and prosper. This allows you to exist again through the process of [[natural immortality]] where nature created an awarepath you experienced once it can produce another version of you again. If supreimmortality is true there are an extremely large amount of different [[physapaths]] that will produce a conscious life that you will experience. These physapaths can exist throughout space and time where any brains can exist that produces the corresponding [[neuropath]] that the physapath would produce. Thus there could be many brains in a vat floating around in outerspace stimulated by an experience machine producing any desired reality, including the one you are experiencing now. This conscious version of you may or may not know where or how it is produced. There are many stars in the universe that can supply the energy for your “brain in a vat” and the experience macnine.There is also large amount of matter around each star that can be used to create these many different versions of you or any other person. Making many different conscious versions of you throughout space and time is a potential goal that your current version’s conscious perspective might want. But on the other extreme from your current emotional and rational state you may not want the bother and be perfectly happy just to eventually die and never consciously exist again.

The problem is since there are many different potential conscious versions of you, there are likely many versions of you that want to live longer and have as good or better future lives than your present one. If you currently do not mind permanently not consciously existing ever again, there will have likely been points in your present life where you wanted to consciously exist again after death. 

Your current conscious self has little control of what you will experience in the future of your current life. Maybe more importantly, your current conscious self can only indirectly, in a few situations effect the future occuring physapath that will produce awarpath that you will experience. For example, the actions of your current conscious self will not effect which awarepaths will occur another universe or likely in distance parts of this uiverse. What your currently produced consciousness can do is to become aware of the ideas of superimmorality. 
Then make sure, through the scientific method, that these ideas are well founded on evidence, coherent, and rational. Continuingly, work toward making the future versions of you (and other conscious beings) have better, more enhanced, fulfilling, intresting, amazing lives.

Scientifically it appears that nature randomly created you. However, there could be all sorts of enhanced conscious versions of you (or loved ones) that are actually the creators and directors of your current conscious version of yourself. In this case the current conscious version of you could be a repeat, an extension, an enhancement, or a modification of a previously existing version of you that was created by nature naturally,

One definition of morality is a particular system of values and principles of conduct, especially ones held by a person or society. How is the correct way to behave according science of superimmortality?


There is much more to conscious survival than keeping your current body alive.

What is the goal of morality? What is the purpose of having rules of behavior? What is the purpose of getting people to follow rules of behavior? Survival of society is necessary for the survival of the individual. the survival of the individual is necessary for the survival of the society.

There is a need for people to get along not just for the individuals to survive.

The individual consciousness has to survive beyond this current conscious moment. humans and other animals see that they will have a consciousness in the future that is differnt from the present conscious moment. They frequently see this as the environment around them changing instead of they themself changing.


Love empaths caring has been developed in our genes and consciousness for the purpose of having people doing things that help the group to survive.

The purpose of morality is to give useful rules for both the individual and the society to survive. Because of the concepts of superimmortality, survival of society has much more meaning for the survival of the individual when there can be many versions of the individual within the society. And even if there are no present individuals that have the person’s ixperiencitness does not mean that the society will not produce individuals that have this person’s later or in the future 

Thre is not only idntity of the ixperiencitness but also percentage wise identity of ixperiencitness. On top of this the same body thus the same person can produce an ixperiencitness that  varies over time and makes an ixpepath. So a body can go between producing two somewhat different ixperiencitnesses. The ixperiencitness produced by the body of a child can have a somewhat different ixperiencitness than the same body produced as an adult.



What is the right set of morals or what ought we do. The goal has always been doing what helps in the survival of the individual but the survival of the idividual is also dependent on the survival of the group or society that the idividual is in. 

At a particular time and place morals can be subjective but overall it is objective. The objective is the survival of conscious beings. The particulars are within all of the possible different consciousnesses that can be produced Which are the ones that should be produced, the ones that keep the society surviving and learning about reality and the breath of conscious experience that can exist. Is there an ultimate consciousness or an ultimate society of consciousnesses?

==The individuals needs versus the group’s or society’s needs.== 

We care about the consciousness that we are and will experience. We care about the body we experience having because it likely produces the consciousness that we experience. Intuitively we understand the importance of the group or society that is why we will often suffer and die for others. We have had to develop this aspect of our conscious selves in order to raise children and take care of the sick and unfortunate.

It might seem like it is you that is going to die and never exist again, against the world and the “others” that are in the world. But in reality it is you that has a consciousness that has to take care of the body that is producing it. usually unaware that the society “the others” are actually the conscious “you” also. The body that produces the consciousness you experience at each moment exists through time, each moment producing variation of the consciousness. you are much more than the conscious moment you are experiencing right now. you are much more than the total consciousness that your body is producing during it life time. You are a society of conscious beings that are progressing and surviving. What are we progressing toward? we are progressing toward understanding what we are as we learn how to continue to survive in a world that is not made easy to consciously survive in.

Superimmortality makes it rational to care about and work with other people to solve survival problems and make future conscious versions of your life better. In other word it is rational to create general rules of behavior that helps not only making your like better but to make other peoples life better and to increase society’s chance of continuing to exist.
This is because society in general can do more for the individual than just passing on genes and having others have memories of him and his accomplishments. A society of people, that continues to exist, can actually naturally create and maybe even someday artifically create, future conscious versions of this person. In other words a surviving society of conscious beings can give individuals life after death over and over again. And even better conscious future lives if society is scientifically progressive.

This also includes your future life as well. There are a very large amount of things that you will not have experienced in this life. They are also duplicatable with the right structure and functioning of a material body.  This consciousness, you will experience exactly as if you actually would have had it, instead of the one you did have with your current body.  Knowing these concepts, you can make  choices in this life --- from this your current [[conscious perspective]], that can make your present or future consciousness, that you will experience,  better or worse. Not only does this apply to yourself, it applies to your friends and loved one as well.</center>

<center>There are many different structures and functioning that when they are produced will produce a consciousness that you experience. There can be any number (including zero) of these, created at the same time, consequently, multiplicity of self or multiplicity of your conscious existence. This is very different from most people's conception of themselves as a singular individual body. You can according to this theory experience having any material body, or even all at the same time. There are many [[potential versions of you]] that are aware of these ideas. There are many potential versions of you that believe that they are influencing the [[consciousness]] that other versions of you are having. If they are actually influencing the consciousness that you are experiencing to a large enough extent this makes them like a god in relation to you. A strange thought, you being your own god so to speak --- caring, controlling, punishing. If there can be potential versions, there could be [[actual versions of you]] as well.</center>
