Its existence can not be verified out side of reference to it. People can name, define, and talk about this x factor. All this can be combined into complex, logical, rational, organizational structures. Does this make it exist? It exists in the sense that it can effect people. Can it then effect the production of the materialist end product? Yes! If immortality is had through the identity theory processes but the belief in the soul (x factor) theory prohibits these processes happening that actually produce immortality,

Supernatural factor can have any combination of the above factors.

The brain has the ability to create numerous ideas that are not real in this reality. In the awarecontinuum there exists many awareconcepts that are not connected directly to this reality. There are numerous supernatural x factors that can be imagined that are not real. What makes a supernatural x factor worth considering?

Why are we considering the supernatural x factors in the identity theory? Because many people believe ins supernatural x factors in their beliefs about themselves, survival, immortality. The soul is such a supernatural x factor. It is not made of matter. but it interacts with it to some degree. There is limited knowledge about it in reality
