Most live humans are conscious beings. It appears that other animals that live on earth are conscious beings also. Scientifically it seems that many beings, that if they have a large enough brain or the equivalent, are conscious to some degree if their brains are functioning correctly. Brains or the equivalent could be constructed to be more complex thus it seems possible that they might be made to be more conscious as well. We can imagine brains and the equivalent varying in complexity and size in numerous different ways. Thus it seems that the consciousnesses that they produce can vary in numerous different ways also.
