You are not the body or soul but the structure and functioning of matter argument:
The science of superimmortality defines you as all of the conscious experiences that you have will or did ever experience. These conscious experiences can be repeated and duplicated in other bodies. Conscious experiences do not exist in the same way that physical objects do. Grouping of conscious experiences are not the same as groupings of physical objects. How can conscious experiences be scientifically studied? They can not be observed except subjectively, and objectively only through the behavior of the body.
Does the body experience consciousness? Many people believe that they are their body, thus it is the body that experiences consciousness. Since as a result of this belief you are your body, when your body no longer exists you no longer exist. Superimmortality predicts that your body by way of the structure and functioning of the nervous system produces a consciousness that you experience.
Lets test this with theory some rational experiments.
Experiment 1 In this experiment we change your present body to that of some one else that is clearly not you such as president Lincoln. You may be lighter or heaver than Lincoln and he may have more of some element and less of others in his body. We can either leave out some weight or add some that was previously used in your body. If this matter discrepancy is a problem another person can be chosen that has this identical elemental make up and weight. We now have the same body but a different structure and functioning.
