Awareness of self experiments

From Aware Theory

The structure and functioning of the brain changes over time along with this change is a change in the consciousness that we experience. Awaretheory predicts that a brain like structure can be produced by making electronic parallel processing systems. Like what occurs in the brain, one electrical neuron equivalent can function in many different capacities depending on the electronic brain structure and functioning as a whole. As as consequence each addition of a neuron can be more than just an additive amount to consciousness. An addition of a neuron may have no effect of the functioning of a brain or it can be a part of many separate consciousness producing networks at the same time.

If we can imagine this consciousness producing electronic brain producing a human like consciousness where the consciousness is aware of its ability to control the functioning of his brain by consciously modifying its structure and functioning, it can be aware of what the removal or replacement of one or more electronic neurons will do to the system. He could do experiments in the rewiring of the neurons and how the neuron function in terms of the consciousness that is produced. These types of experiments could give subjective conscious experiences to the mind/body problem. Is there, however, a consciousness that can understand the hard problem of consciousness. if so then is there a version of this conscious understanding that is understandable to many other conscious beings. Most humans may not be have a brain that is complex enough or structured in the right way to understand the problem and then to understand the solution. The question is can a human brain be structured and then function in such a way that they understand how matter can produce consciousness? The problem some thinkers see is that consciousness is so very different from what we know about how the brain works that we can not imagine how it is produced by neurons. What if we could see reality differently. What if we could feel what the neurons are doing. When we feel we construct a reality. We can feel what the brain is like from our fingers --- supposedly like jelly. This is not seeing the brain functioning nor seeing the brain's structure. To actually see how the brain is producing consciousness you have to have a way to see the consciousness being produced when it is being produced. One might object that this is just an interpretation of brain functioning, but everything that we experience is just an interpretation of reality created through our brain's structure and functioning.
