Continuum change concept

From Aware Theory

The Continuum change concept is based on the Continuum concept. A continuum can be defined in awaretheory in many differnt ways. A real continuum is a continuum where there are no steps. No matter how close you are you can always get closer without being at that point. It is based on real numbers where between any two number, that are not equal, there is always another number in fact an infinite amount of different numbers between them. Nature is likely not this way. Based on current physics there are limits to how small physical quantities are, like the Planck constant, Calculus is based on real continuums. Awaretheory is based on physical reality that seems to have finite steps of change. It takes a finite step of change in physical structure and functioning to produce consciousness. This is represented by the momentconcept in awaretheory. An awaremoment is produced by a physamoment. There is also the pointconcept used by awaretheory. The point concept allows mapping from fazpoint to fazpoint (like awarepoint to a physapoint). The question is how wide is each point? How much change is there between one point and the point right next to it. A continuum basically is supposed to contain all the points between one point and the next, but it can also have rules defining the continuum that eliminates a portion of the points. The reason might be for simplicity or for many other reasons. With a real continuum like a number line you can remove an infinite amount of points and still have an infinite amount of points left.
