Culture based awarepath

From Aware Theory

A culture based awarepath is an awarepath that could exist in a particular culture. A cave man's awarepath would not contain all the things that we have in our lives today like cars, televisions, computers, jobs, modern houses, guns, religions, complex languages, writing, etc. They would have a very different understanding of their world. They might know how to hunt and survive in their environment but they would not understand their environment like we do. They would not understand stars, body parts, and sickness etc. as we currently do.

We can imagine applying a caveman's sensepath to a modern day man. This is like living in todays world then to be in a caveman's environment. This is mixed culture awarepath. There are many ways to imagine mixed culture awarepaths. If the culture is changing fast enough it can seem like a mixed culture awarepath but it can also be defined as the culture itself. For instance, the modern western culture has changed rapidly over the past hundred years but we can still call it modern western culture. There are people that are old enough to have experienced these changes.

Awaretheory predicts that awarepaths can be imagined and constructed that can develop over long periods of time experiencing large amounts cultural change. They do not have to be one continuous body to experience a continuous experience of conscious existence. see itofazextension.

There are many other concept based types of awarepaths. Many types of awarepaths are not mutually exclusive. A culture based awarepath is sensepath regulated and defined.

aAnother type of awarepath is defined under the grouping Time and Perspective Related Itofazpath Types.
