External observer

From Aware Theory

The observer concept is one of perspective.

When it comes to consciousness there are many different perspectives. Four major divisions are the conscious identity, ixperiencitness identity, partial ixperiencitness identity, no ixperiencitness identity,. Each division has many subdivisions.

A consciousness (awarepath) is always an observer of something or it is not conscious. It can be conscious of its consciousness to some degree, to a body to some degree, to a reality to some degree and to other consciousness to some degree, and a combination of the previous cases. There are different kinds of observers depending on what they are observing. Observers can observe only their own consciousness to some degree, their own consciousness and a sensepath, another consciousness but not their own, their own and other consciousnesses, their own and other other consciousnesses and their sensepath to some degree, their consciousness and base reality plus other types of realities, their consciousness and base reality plus other types of realities with a consciousness that has the ability to compare the different realities to some degree.

There is then the cases of observers of itofazspaces. An obvious sub-example is observers of awarepaths What you appear to yourself to be, stated in awaretheory terminology, is a sequence of awaremoments produced by a sequence of physimoments usually in a flowing connected way. Some of these awaremoments contain thoughts, feeling, memories etc., of previously experienced awaremoments and awaresections. Without these experiences we would not know that we existed in the past. This is a form of being an observer of an awarepath We might say that this is a case of observing your past awarepath but we do not remember all the things that happened in our past life and we have a tendency to reconstruct our past. We thus have a partial distant observation of an awarepath. We have a tendency to summarize this partial distance observation of our previous life into more important summaries.

Some people say if they do not see it or feel it they do not believe it. They and most other people can not see the consciousness produced by other people. So when awaretheory predicts that other people can have the same consciousness that they do they will not be able to see it. Its not likely that someone else will have the same consciousness that you do because they will have a different sensepath or perspective on reality that you do. The more important concept that would be more likely to be seem if it could be by a person is having the an identical ixperiencitness or partially identical ixperiencitness. Awaretheory predicts that there are consciousnesses that can see two or more awarepaths at once and then can see how much alike the consciousness are. Awaretheory believes that there is good reasons to think that there are there previous types of awarepaths
