Identical attributes argument
More actions
Identical attributes argument is the argument proposed by the science of superimmortality that all the conscious attributes that can be deemed from behavior, that can be ascribed to a person, will also exactly show up in all of that person's cidentireplicas. There will also be many closely identical videntireplicas of this original person that also produce the same behavior and thus producing strong indications of having the same conscious attributes.
The reason that this is important is that we can not see the conscious produced by another person, so how are we to know what consciousness that person is actually producing? Another person's consciousness is understood by his behavior. Identical consciousness is indicated by identical behavior. Two different person's behavior can be identical for a period of time and then diverge showing evidence that they do not have identical consciousnesses. But it does give evidence that their consciousness were closer than if their behavior was always different.
