If consciousness is an illusion then do awarepaths still exist

From Aware Theory

If consciousness is an illusion then do awarepaths still exist? When thinkers like Danial Dennett seems to say that consciousness is an illusion what do they mean? What I believe he is saying is that consciousness can be viewed as being a physipath and does not have be be considered as a unique soul like thing that can not be mapped to an awarepath. Are awarepaths and physipaths identical? Superimmortality believes that there is good reasons to delineate the two concepts because you can then either have the goal of producing a physipath or producing an awarepath. Physipaths produce awarepaths. In the minds or beliefs of many people the functioning of the brain is not the consciousness that it produces. If many different physipaths will produce the same identical awarepath then they are not identical. If many different bodies can produce the same consciousness then the body and consciousness are not identical either. If many different TV sets can produce the same identical TV show the TV show and the TV are not identical either.
