Immortality versus life after death
More actions
Your immortality requires your participation.
The universe itself creates the potential for you to experience life after death. But under normal circumstances you will not know it, when it happens, because even though it might produce the same ixperiencitness it will not likely produce the correct corresponding memories of a past life to make you think you have existed before. Your immortality requires your correct participation. What you do, in your current life does effect whether you will be immortal or just have a potential of life after death.
Most people believe that to have immortality you have to have a god to produce it for any individual. The first reason for this belief in god for immortality is they do not understand how to create immortality for themselves. The second reason is that even if they knew how immortality works, for them they know that they cannot produce the complex technology or as some might call it "magic" required.
First life after death has to be possible. Then you have to know how to understand it. Then you have to have the complex technology to produce it from this understanding.
The ideas in the awaretheory.com show that life after death is possible and why. It shows how many different types of life after death are created for conscious beings in general, and specifically for each individual conscious being. What is needed is the pursuit of advanced technology and an advanced technological society that can survive for very long periods of time.
Conscious beings perpetuate conscious beings. If you understand that other conscious beings or conscious devices are what is required for immortality or life after death for you, you might or will spend less time on satisfying your curent self's less important needs and more on the creation of other versions of you.
Awaretheory shows that enhanced versions of ourselves have our ixperiencitness. These enhanced versions of ourselves will be the ones that control our destiny, like gods are supposed to do, but with more commitment than a god will have for us because a god is usually not supposed to have the ixperiencitness of any particular human. So a god will be less likely to care about the suffering and immortality of a human than an enhanced version of that human or conscious being.
Believing in religions or belief systems that do not support the advancement and pursuit of scientific knowledge, and the advancement of consciousness and conscious abilities, will very likely mean that you will not be immortal. The advanced science and technology that advanced versions of ourselves can and will produce, will be the supposed gods, so to speak, that can and will make our ixperiencitness immortal.
Some people believe that science proves our mortality. But in fact it will be science that creates our many different forms of immortality.
