Itoextension experiments

From Aware Theory

Itoextension experiments are experiments that deal with the revival of the itobody after variable periods of death. Then Contingent variables continuums can be applied to the experiments with variable periods of death. The main results that the experiments are looking for are the resulting itobodie's behavior, consciousness, and ixperiencitness. If the revived itobody has the ixperiencitness of the original itobody then it is a case of life after death for the original itobody.

The variables that can be experimented with as a continuum are:

Necessary variable continuums for every experiment

Period of death This variable can range from the shortest possible period of death to any lenght of time to infinity. Every Itoextension experiment contains by definition a period of death variable. If there is no period of death variable in the experiment then you are creating itocontinuance experiments.

Contingent variable continuums for experiments

Amount of original matter: The amount of original matter in the revived original can be from 0% to 100%.

Placement of original matter there are an enumerable amount of permutations dealing with the placement of the original matter in the revived itobody

Changes in structure and functioning: experiments with changes in the structure and functioning after a period of death.

Change in time: symmetry in terms of the time that the experiment is carried out. Will the results be the same no matter when the experiment is carried out in the universe?

Change in place: symmetry in terms of the placement of the experiment. Will the results be the same no matter where the experiment is carried out in the universe?

Dispersal and retrieval pattern of the original itobody's matter

The important of some of the matter in the body over other matter in the body

Discrete variable experiments:

Number of deaths and revivals this is more of a whole number variable than a continuum variable they range in whole number from 0 to infinity.

Type of death this is a change in discrete concepts such as death by fire, drowning, gun shots, disease, accident, etc.

Itoextension experiments is a grouping name for:

Oriextension experiments are itoextension experiments dealing with originals.

Idoextension experiments are itoextension experiments dealing with idoriginals.

The simplest scientific theory that predicts the all the outcomes of the experiments is that identical structure and functioning will produce identical behavior, consciousness, and ixperiencitness. It does not matter what parameters, as stated above, are used and varied over their continuum, the resulting behavior, consciousness, and ixperiencitness are maintained when the structure and functioning of the revived itobody is closely approximated.

To make other theories work we have to make a number of conditional statements. For materialist singularity theories the theory has to be modifyed to predict that there will never be two or more itobodies existing at the same time that has the same ixperiencitness. And with extreme materialist singularity theories after death of an itobody there can never be that itobody's ixperiencitness ever produced again.

For supernatural singularity theories for instance like a soul based theory, your ixperiencitness is based on a singular soul.

For extreme supernatural singularity theories if the one supernatural entity like the soul is destroyed this is the permeant end of your ixperiencitness.

Simple Revival experiments are experiments where the itobody is revived to an animate state, using the original body with all the same matter in the same relative place and restoring the original itobodies structure and functioning to a stable non deteriorating state.

Since at this time in our scientific level of advancement we cannot do these experiments, what we have to do is consider all possible out comes for the experiments and eliminate the results that are incoherent with out scientific knowledge. There will be a set of logical, rational results of these experiments given exact preconditions.

What we know as principles for the experiments:

1. There are many different structures and functioning that a body can have, only some of these will keep the body alive and produce consciousness.

2. To make someone animate or alive again the body has to function within certain parameters. For a human it is having the normal body systems functioning with in certain bounds such as blood flowing, nerves firing, new cells being produced.

3.

Revival experiments

Comparison of theories:

Consider the experimental case where the soul of one person #1 is put into the body of another person #2 and visa versa.

How does the soul change the structure and functioning of the body? If the presence of soul #2 in person #1 does not change the structure and functioning of person #1's body, then person #1 will continue to have the original person #1's behavior and not person #2 behavior. He will continue to call himself by person #1 name and say he has person #1's consciousness, and ixperiencitness even though he has persons soul. He will not acknowledge that he now contains soul #2. He will not be aware of it, in any sense that he can communicate it differently than if had not the soul #2 in him. The same goes for person #2 with soul #1.

This gives us strong evidence that switching the soul without changing the structure and functioning does not change the ixperiencitness of the person. We know this without even doing the experiments, simply by rational deductions from previously known scientific knowledge.

Revival experiments that require that the soul be attached to the body, will have to explain what happens to the soul when there is a waiting in revival of the person. This may not be a problem for shorts periods of death but what happens when there are extremely long periods of death like billions of years? What happens if the soul goes into another body during this period? Does it have to, by necessity, go back into the original revived body or does it stay in the new body.

Souls theories do not make very much scientific sense. You cannot study them because you cannot find them.
