Many worlds interpretation and the itotheory
If there are parallel universes and in these parallel universes if there are other people that are identical to you or very close are these persons cases of survival for you? Is this you experiencing a different world? It is a different person
If they have identical consciousness to you they will be cases of survival for you. But in a different universe where the physical laws might be different the same consciousness might be produced by a different physipath. What if an identical physipath does produce the same behavior but not the same consciousness or no consciousness at all. Does this destroy materialism? No because there are underlying materialistic factors that cause this that are different in this different universe. This can even be the case in this universe if there are regions of space that have different controlling factors for the production of consciousness.
