Partial postknowledge

From Aware Theory

No preknowledge

Preknowledge is a word for a concept used in awaretheory to help explain types of consciousnesses or awarepaths. When you have no idea what is going to happen to you in the future you have no preknowledge about your future. But usually we think that tomorrow will be much like today. Things can be drastically different tomorrow and you can know about these changes or not. You can also be partially aware of major changes. For instance, you can know that you are going on a vacation but not where and what you will experience. Preknowledge can help you prepare your consciousness for something. But it can also be detrimental in the sense that you know that something bad is going to happen and you can not do anything about it. Because of this preknowledge you can end up suffering through worrying etc. Having preknowledge or not effects the awarepath that you experience.

Partial preknowledge

The concept of Partial preknowledge reflects the idea that we frequently do not have complete or satisfying knowledge of why something happened or will happen. Most people have partial preknowledge about what will happen in their future. Frequently, with small modification, this generalized partial preknowledge turns out to be correct.

Preknowledge

The concept of preknowledge is the ideas that we can know something before it happens by setting up experiments and learning what will happen under certain conditions. Then repeating the experiment using this preknowledge, in place of certain aspects of the experiment for more different experiments. We can then use this preknowledge in future experiments to replace certain types of functioning in itoidentireplicas. It is especially useful in studying and experimenting with fidentireplicas.

The concept of preknowledge can even be used when quantum randomness makes the structure and functioning diverge from the previous experiment. This is done by tweaking the system to be the same as it was in the first experiment.

A preknowledge experiment with fidentireplicas: The first step is to record the exact structure and functioning of the brain. Then the brain is split in half but connected in such a way that the same consciousness as before is produced. The the exact functioning and structure recording that occurs. Then you duplicate the experiment with a cidentireplica where the brain are split but not connected through preknowledge both sides of the brain are stimulated identically what will be the consciousness and ixperiencitness produced in each experiment?

Total preknowledge

You may have to know every thing to have total preknowledge. Total preknowledge means that you will always know exactly what will happen to your consciousness. It is at the other extreme of knowing nothing or having no preknowledge. An analogy might be the difference between zero and infinity. You have preknowledge that you will go to work tomorrow or play a video game in a few minutes. But you are not surprised if you get sick, or a friend come over and you do something else. These things are in your range of possibilities that you think can happen to you. But if you find yourself suddenly in an alien world with an alien body speaking an alien language, this is not likely what you are expecting. If you had total preknowledge you would have expected this. But you could have expected this bizarre happening without total preknowledge. If someone that you trusted told you that this was going to happen to you (with some specifics) and you believed them this would be preknowledge. If someone told you that something really weird was going to happen to you some time in the futre but without specifics of when or what this would be partial preknowledge.

No postknowledge

If you find your self in a totally unexpected place, time, environment, body, etc. and do not know why nor ever find out why this is a case of having no postknowledge. Awaretheory predicts that there are many awarepaths that have your ixperiencitness where there is no postknowledge for events in your life. In many cases this is the case for many people in their current life. Many things happens to you in your life that you will never know why they happened. People often blame things that happen to them on gods or god's will but this is not a real explanation. Because it does not explain why gods or god did this. Science gives us useful postknowledge and explaining postknowledge.

Partial postknowledge

There are major events in peoples lives where they wonder what and then why something happened. If they get answers after the experience it is usually incomplete but it can be a satisfying answer to some people. For instance, "It was gods will!" is enough for some. For this to be an good answer you have to use your imagination. Partial postknowledge is used in relation to awarepaths (consciousness) as an aspect of consciousness sometimes being very important for the consciousness. Sometimes postknowledge is part of an awarepath and there is not the awareness of this postknowledge to the question or questions. The answers can be known before the questions are asked. And even after the questions are formed and the answers are there too the connections between the two are not yet created or only partially connected.

Postknowledge

Is the concept that there can be knowledge of something after it happens as opposed to before it occurs. It is used in awaretheory to help define and explain certain types of awarepaths. When any change in consciousness occurs of importance there can be understanding of that change or not after that change. That understanding or lack of understanding is part of the consciousness or awarepath.

Total postknowledge

Total postknowledge is used as a term like "infinity" is used. It is a encompassing name for a concept that can not be toatlly understood. There can be a name of a concept without a complete definition or understanding for it. Total postknowledge can be an idea approaching total understanding of everything. It can also mean more than we can understand. No matter how advanced a conscious being or society of conscious beings becomes there will always be knowledge that he (they) does not know. The reason is that there is always more knowledge to know.

Preknowledge use for or with fidentireplicas

Preknowledge is a concept used to produce a specific consciousness or awarepath by the use of a fidentireplica Imagine splitting a brain into two parts and then connecting them so that they continue to function as if they were never split. There is going to be a specific pattern of communication between the two halves of the brain and the neurons that are stimulated by the body or a body simulator (sensepaducer). With preknowledge there does not have to be the actual interconnections between the two halves of the brain and the body, they can all be created by a brain part simulator with that preknowledge of what is going to happen ahead of time so both halves of the brain function like they would if they were connected. The question is what will be the consciousness produced by this unconnected split brain that is functioning the same way as the whole brain? If it was connected so it could speek it would say the same things as if the brain were actually connected. It would report having the same experiences, feeling, emotions, as the original un-split brain. What would be the ixperiencitness produced by this split brain. Awaretheory predicts that if the situation was achiable it would produce the same awarepath and ixpepath as the unsplit brain functioning the same way. Awaretheory also predicts that slight difference in the physapath of the split brain would also produce the same awarepath and ixpepath. Even further changes in the physapath will produce variations in the awarepath but the ixpepath will stay the same. If there are large enough changes in the physapath there will be a difference in both the awarepath and ixpepath.
