This discussion's purpose is not to create evidence for resurrection because resurrection needs a god with certain types of supernatural powers to make it happen. Resurrection allows the recreation of only one person having the original's consciousness and ixperiencitness in some unknown mysterious way. The science of Superimmortality explains exactly what is going on in the process of reproducing you after death or even before death, without gods, souls, or other supernatural concepts like reincarnation requires.
Why is it necessary for ever thing in the universe to be identical for there to be a repeat of a particular structure and functioning of matter? Second, why is identical structure and functioning necessary to produce the same awarepath or consciousness over time? Third, why does identical consciousness need to be repeated for you to experience being conscious?
Using the TV analogy for an example of this. A TV is a physical object so is the human body. Most of the things that happen outside of a TV do not effect the show that is being repeated as long as the TV's structure and functioning is closely enough like it was in the first showing, the second, third, etc., showing will be identical to the first one. The event, or the TV itself do not have to be identical to produce an identical showing of a TV show. The same applies to a person. Using the same body and repeating the identical structure and functioning that produce a particular consciousness over time in the past will also produce the same consciousness now.
The assumption is that things have to be identical for you to be duplicated. Here is evidence that this is not correct. Questions: If you duplicate identical structure and functioning in your current body that existed one week ago for one day will this repeat of structure and functioning produce the same consciousness that was produced one week ago for one day? And do you experience this repeated consciousness?
