Superimmortality is very different from reincarnation. The "you" in reincarnation is singular in the sense you have one soul or equivalent and that goes from one body to the next. The "you" in superimmortality is multiple where there can be many different bodies that produce the same you at the same time like many different TVs can produce the same show at the same time. The "you" for superimmortality is defined as varying structures and functionings of matter. The "you" for reincarnation is defined as a supernatural entity that can inhabit different types of bodies irrespective of the structure and functioning that these bodies have so your soul can be with in any type of animal like a fly or lion. On the other hand, superimmortality allows for you to have experiences like being a fly by modifying the sensepath that is applied to a structure and functioning of matter that produce a consciousness that you experience.

One of the most important differences between reincarnation and superimmortality is the evidence. What ever evidence there is for reincarnation can be explained through and with the science of superimmortality. Superimmortality predicts that if structure and functioning of a body is repeated closely enough then identical consciousness is produced. This body does not have to be the same body as the original body. There does not have to be any continuousness or continuity between one body and the next except in approximate structure and functioning.

Superimmortality does not predict that there will ever be another body that has a structure and functioning that produces a consciousness that you will experience so it is best to make the most out of this life. But on the other hand your future existence depends on there being bodies that can produce a structure and functioning of matter that will produce a consciousness that you experience. If mankind kills itself off, for what ever reason, this reduces the probability that you will consciously exist again after death. If you want to consciously exist again after death it will be to your advantage not only to maintain the earth's ability to produce conscious life, but to spread conscious life through out the universe. And importantly, conscious life that you want to experience not lives full of awful experiences like a hell would produce.

Another major difference between superimmortality and reincarnation is there can be many kinds of enhancements for the multiple versions of you existing at the same time through out space and times. Where as in reincarnation there is only moral improvement for the singular self, in each preceding life, to the point of personal oblivion into a universal consciousness. Superimmortality predicts that there can be versions of you that are advocating for others versions of you. This means that you can help in the creation, improvement, and enhancement of other versions of your self and your loved ones. Since you never know who is a version of you and every human is likely at least somewhat consciously like you it is wise to treat everyone as nicely and constructly as possible.
