Religious dogma

Religious dogmas are beliefs that are held to be true and and sometimes necessary for the religion to exist. Religious dogmas sometimes change as religions themselves change over time. One major problem with religious dogma is that it frequently conflicts with scientific knowledge. A religion can be based on any set of ideas no matter how irrational they are. This in a way reflects mankind's ability to adapt to his environment. There are two major factors that influence the existence of religions. First, people learn from others. One of the things that they learn is religion or a society's belief system. The ideas of a belief system my seem crazy from an external more knowable perspective but it may be true and thus useful in an itofazpaducer created reality. At least the individuals using a belief system (religion) survived long to train the next generation in the knowledge that helped or possibly did not hinder them to much, to survive. Once that we become comfortable in a belief system (religion) we do not want to change. So we learn and then we stick to what we have learned. Both help a society of conscious beings to survive. But if the environment changes we have to change our ideas, knowledge, beliefs, and skills as well. A religious belief becomes a religious dogma when it stops needed, positive change in the religion or belief system. The same general idea apply to science. There exists scientific dogma. Scientific dogma like religious dogma can lead to an inability to change when necessary. To be fair, naming something a dogma can be based on perspective. Sometimes the change can be worse than no change or maintaining the dogma. Change for the sake of change can be fun for some but can also lead to suffering for many. So dogma may seem safer than novelty.
Awaretheory is a set of novel ideas that can give conscious beings what religions do without the anti scientific dogmas that frequently are a major part of religions. Awaretheory also counters some scientific dogmas as well.
