At min. 2:30 in the video Sam Harris says: The reality of death is absolutely central to religion and its denial is central to religion. Without death faith based religion would be unthinkable. And from the point of view of the faithful, atheism appears to be mere assertion of death. We actually appear to be a death cult because we are the only people who admit death is real. Most views, every other view believes the question or asserts that death is an illusion

Death is real but consciousness that you can experience again after death is also a real possibility.

At min. 3:36 Sam says: The good news of atheism --- the gospel of atheism is essentially nothing --- that nothing happens after death. There is nothing to worry about. There is nothing to fear when after you die you are returned to that nothingness that you were before you were born.

If you can come out of that nothingness once through natural processes why can't you come out again? There is a natural process that produced a consciousness you experienced in the first place why can we not know what that process was and aid it through science to increase the probability of it happening again? Where is the proof that, that process can not occur again or occur in many different ways?

The good news of superatheism is that conscious existence for each self--- each you is possible again after death through knowable physical processes.

If superimmortality is true it does not mean that religions are true. Religions require supernatural entities like souls and gods to create and support life after death for a person. Superimmortality does not need any supernatural, magical or imaginary entities or concepts to understand or create life after death for a person.
