Successional itopaths
More actions
Most parts of most peoples lives corespond to successional itopaths, The end of their lives correspond to regressional itopaths because the brain and consciousness is degrading. And because we develop slowly from a fertilized egg to that of an adult, the early part of our lives correspond to progressional itopaths because the brain and consciousness is progressing and developing slowly over time. Digressional itopaths usually have to be deliberately created because they go in the oppisite direction of the arrow of time.
When you look at your life, what you see is a succession of experiences that are related by the same memories of the same people, objects, ideas, goals personalities, desires, feelings, etc., that are tied together by a sense of the relatively slow progression of time changing these people objects, etc., so the people and objects get older, die, brake, change, etc. Through the whole process, it seems that your consciousness, to yourself, stays relatively the same except for normal learning, aging, etc., changes.
