Supporting evidence for extended singular life principle 5

From Aware Theory

Extended singular life principle 5 is: There are numerous amounts of different ways that your body can be structured.

Supporting evidence:

Counting argument for the enumerability of different potential structures of a body Structure does not include the replacement of atoms with identical functioning atoms. This increases potential possibilities by a very large order of magnitude. The term structure as used by the science of superimmortality does include the orientation and relative position of the atoms and subatomic particles all the way up the ladder of more complex structures like molecules, DNA, cells, organs, and body parts. If we just deal with atom orientation, it is estimated that there are 7 times 10 to the 27 power of atoms is a 70 kg human, If there were just 2 ways to uniquely position an atom's orientation there would be 2 to the exponent of 10 to the 27 power of unique structural organization of atoms in a human body. Even if there is no unique up or down to an atom there are several energy states for each atom. And each atom could be in many different slightly different positions in a sphere around its current position. The bonding of the atoms in relation to other atoms in a molecule creates structures with different orientations and electron concentration patterns surrounding the molecules.

Counting argument for the enumerability of different potential structures of a brain How many different ways can we change the structure of one neuron cell keeping it within a certain size and shape limit? Removing just one atom out of the cell changes it structure. Changing its shape in just one small among changes its structure. Changing it orientation changes it structure. Consequently, one neuron can be modified in a very large amount of different ways. There are estimated to be maybe a hundred billion neurons in the human brain. Each neuron can be modified one by one independently of the other neurons. So we have a very large number of potential ways each neuron can be modified to the power of 100 billion. Not all of these potential structures will be able to produce consciousness over time i.e., function in such a way to produce consciousness. But even a small fraction of a very large number is still a very large number. This is for one size of brain as the brain increases there is an ever increasing amounts of different ways the brain can be structured.

What importance does this principle have for understanding consciousness and ixperiencitness? There are many more physapaths than awarepaths so many different physapaths will map to or produce one awarepath. There are many more awarepaths than there are ixperiencitnesses so many awarepaths will map to or produce one ixperiencitness. Consequently, many different physapaths will produce the same ixperiencitness. An infinitely long physapath can contain many finite length physapaths that you will experience when they are being produced by the functioning of your endlessly long lived body.
