Tradition keepers and perpetuators are people that keep a traditon or belief alive and perpetuate it to future generations. They may or may not believe in the ideas as true but they might like what they get from it like a job, recognition, power, wealth, or simply celebrations. True believers think without any doubt that the ideas in the belief system are true.
