We can know with absolute certainty that there is no afterlife

From Aware Theory

This is a response to the youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG-poLXAJu8

Religious theories of an afterlife are at best wishful thinking needing supernatural entities like souls, gods, spirit-worlds, heavens, and hells. There is no useful evidence that they exist beyond people's imagination. Religious immortality theories are at best promises and more likely ways of using and manipulating people.

The science of superimmortality does not need or use souls or any other supernatural concept for a person to be conscious again after death. Any argument against souls or the supernatural is a supporting argument for superimmortality. Superimmortality is a materialistic theory that is based on the fact that consciousness is produced by the functioning of the brain. Duplicate the structure and functioning of the brain closely enough and you duplicate the behavior and consciousness produced by the body. This principle is based on a universal scientific concept that applies to everything natural and man made. For example, If you duplicate the structure and functioning of a TV closely enough you produce the identical TV show. If you duplicate a manufacturing process closely enough you get the same product like a car, computer, cookie, or railroad track. If the results of two experiments that are thought to be closely enough alike are different we do not assume that there is some supernatural aspect causing this difference we look for new or over looked physical factors that are different between the experiments. Once all the effecting physical factors of an experiment are closely enough alike, the experimental results will be the same. Science is based on the ability of nature to repeat itself under identical enough circumstances. The same matter does not have to be used in the same places or times to create the same results. This has been shown over and over again in science and technology. But for some reason the assumption is that this does not apply to human body and the consciousnesses that it produces. Humans are complex material structures, that would be hard to duplicate closely enough to produce identical consciousnesses, but they do have a physical structure at each point in their lives that could be approximated. This approximation of structure and functioning will approximately reproduce the same consciousness. Superimmortality and awaretheory has created the concept of ixperiencitness just in case reproducing the same consciousness does not reproduce the "you", superimmortality predicts that reproducing closely enough the same structure and functioning in another body recreates the same ixperiencitness in this other body.

Superimmortality predicts that you can exist again after death in many different ways in different bodies, but it takes science and technology to solve problems about the survival of the humans and other life forms. Nature itself can, through random processes, when it closely enough duplicates a structure and functioning of matter, produce a consciousness that you will experience again after death. But if there are just a few people then it might take eons of time before random conditions produce another body that produces a consciousness that you experience. By having more and more people through out the universe increases this likelihood of you consciously existing again. If there are too many people the quality of life will be degraded. What is the value of life after death if it is a living hell. Science is necessary, in general, to make sure that life experiences for conscious beings are desirable.
