You have been convicted

You have been convicted, you will now die. But I have not done anything that bad to be given a death sentence. I am sorry but there is no appeal allowed. What am I accused of? You are accused of political dissatisfaction. Political dissatisfaction what is that? You are unhappy with the way things are. No one here is allowed to be unhappy with the way things are? You can be unhappy with the ways things are but you keep your thoughts to yourself here. Making others unhappy about the ways things are is a death sentence here. but people work so hard here with so little to show for it. It is not fair to them. Who benefits from all this? The rich, the powerful? Where are they any way? Do they have their own secluded communities? In my travels I have not seen any of these communities. I have seen only seen the massive factories that are every where.

How long do I have to live? Not long, a few days at the most. Doesn't it matter that I am new to your world, and that I do not understand your laws? The law is the law and it has been this ways for a long time. Just because you are new to our world does not mean that you can break our laws. I was not even allowed to be at my trial how do I know that it was fair? I represent you. I was there everything was legal. You know that you are the only one that has ever complained about their sentence. Are your people so brain washed that they do not complain about dying? We are not brain washed at all. We understand completely what is happening to us. So your people hate their lives so much that they prefer to die than to continue in this life? That is correct. That is awful! How can you live with your self doing this to your people? I believe that I am doing the right thing. That is what we think we are doing for you too. I really do not understand why you are so upset. I am upset because I am going to die. I traveled here from a planet many light years away in a state of suspended animation for most of the time. I was not going to your planet but to another one, and you stopped me and destroyed my spaceship. I was going to return home in that spaceship. we have already told you that we did not destroy your space ship it was already in very bad shape. If we had not recovered your body you would be dead now. At least I would have died without knowing that I was going to die? Your death will be painless. You would have suffered a slow death as your space ship disintegrated. Thanks a lot! You could have told me about yours laws. We did. We told you that it was a death sentence if you cause political unrest. I though you were teasing. We warned you several times. Our own people do not get any warnings like you received. You did not tell me I was going to die you said I was going to die and go then to heaven. Your society and people are not even religious. How can you believe in heaven?

Were you happy here knowing that you were never going to go back home? No I was not happy being here knowing that I could not go home and take back all the information I had learned about your world. I had expected that with your more advanced society, that you would have a more advanced legal system and happier people that did not have to work so hard. Our hard working people are heros! Is that what you tell them? How stupid are they any way? They are not stupid. They do this until they cannot, and then they die like you will. You tell them that they are going to die and then go to heaven. They have to die before they go to heaven. Of course, they do it for themselves some of them are already in heaven.

Now you are not making any sense at all. They die so they can go to heaven where some of them are already. Only a few are in heaven this ways before they die. I can see how this is hard for you to understand. We are taught these ideas from childhood. We do not fear death like you appear to. Death is not the end it is just the beginning. You sound like the religions that we used to have in the past at home. These ideas are not religion but science. Heaven is a supernatural idea that does not exist in reality. We have many heavens here. You have seen many of them in your travels. I have just seen your factories that produce things that I did not see. These are heavens. Your factories are your heavens? If you want to call them factories you can but they are different than regular factories. How are they different? They do not produce things they produce heaven. A factory can not produce heaven. These do, and this is where you are going for and after your death. These are death factories? Your world is horrible.

Enough of this negative talk. We need to continue with the preparations for your death. You have been allowed ten places in heaven. This is very generous gesture from the judges. I do not think that my death is generous. You can not go to heaven if you do not die. Your body has to be taken apart piece by piece so that we can put you in heaven after words. You have been wonderful hosts to me while I have been here. But now you are going to tear me apart piece by piece just because I complained about not being able to go home. Your body's death will not hurt you. You will be going home after your death. That will be one of your heavens. But what would you like for the other nine? I do not understand. When I am dead I am dead. That is the permanent end of me. I will never exist again.

I think I see your problem. You do not see death as a beginning but as a permanent end to you. No wonder your behavior is so strange. We have never had alien visitors before and we just assumed that you were as scientifically advanced as were are. Our heavens are what you might call experience machines. With in our heaven are trillions of people enjoying very good lives. The people out side of the experience machine are the ones that keep everything going properly. The lives that are inside are very productive. The ones outside are necessary. They are truly heros to the ones inside. They do not have experiences as good as the ones inside, but to be inside you have to be analyzed. you call this death. It is just a step to a better life.

What we have planed for you is that you experience traveling to your home world where you tell your people about your experiences of course you will be revered as a hero. You will have wonderful experiences that you could have only dreamt of. How long does this happen for? There does not have to be an end to it. If our society lasts long enough you can exist for billions of years. Won't that be very boring for me? It can be, but we do not give you memories of having existed for billions of years so the experiences can be experienced as new over and over. This is not necessary however, we enhance your consciousness so that you experience and understand much more than you can now.
