Why superimmortality is good for science

Why are some people, especially religious people anti-science? A lot of it is because they believe that the only way to have life after death is through supernatural processes that science rejects. Superimmortality is based on science and gives people a much better theory of immortality and life after death than any religion has ever given mankind without any supernatural concepts or things like souls, gods, heavens, hell, etc,. Rather that being against science, when people realize that only through science can we have a more reliable probability of consciously existing again after death they will be more likely to support science and the scientific process.
